This beautiful wedding day took place on a private piece of paradise along the gulf coast of Florida on Manasota Key. Maren and Brandon’s wedding day was nothing short of magical, as they exchanged vowels with the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, salt water filling the air, and the sun shining down on them. Witnessing their joy and love for one another as they became husband and wife was truly heartwarming. Equally heartwarming was seeing their closest circle of loved ones savoring the moment with them.
Maren had the best surprise for Brandon for the first look! He was nervous, and she knew it! She picked up a dress from a local thrift store and one of the groomsmen agreed to wear it and surprised him during the first look. His reaction was PRICELESS! He had no clue who was really behind him. “I really needed that” were his words before we started the real first look! And he was very excited to see his stunning bride! You’ll see what I mean when you scroll through their images!
Since we did the first look and family portraits before the ceremony we were able to take advantage of the gorgeous sunsets for their bridal portraits as husband and wife! Just like their engagement session, these two were a dream to work with! The warm golden light of the sunset made for the perfect backdrop, creating a romantic and dreamy atmosphere. It was clear that these two were meant to be together, and their love shone brightly in every image I captured.
Another thing you’ll notice when you scroll is how much fun their reception was! Having a live band during your wedding reception can bring a unique and memorable experience for guests. Unlike recorded music, live music can add an element of excitement and energy to the party. And boy did they bring the energy during their first dance and all through out the night! You’ll see what I mean!
It was an absolute honor to capture their day. I’m still in awe of how beautiful it was and I have been counting down the hours until I could share this beauty on the blog!!
Enjoy my many, many favorites!!!
