Emma & Mike: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting me to capture the most special day of your lives. It was truly such a joy to see you both become husband and wife (!!!) The colors & mixed textures of her flowers were absolutely stunning!

Scents have a powerful ability to evoke memories and bring us back to specific moments in time. This is especially true when it comes to special occasions, such as weddings. The scent of the flowers in the bouquet, and the perfume or cologne worn by a bride and groom can trigger vivid memories of the day.

How cute are all of them in their robes?! I LOVE the color Emma chose for her bridesmaids! Plus, each one is customized with their name!

When Emma asked if we could do their first look at this location, I immediately said YES, Absolutely! Fort Ogden park is filled with beautiful mature oak trees & spanish moss creating a gorgeous canopy and backdrop for their first-look, private vowel reading and bridal party portraits!

Loved how they showcased their engagement photos for their guest book to look through as they write sweet messages for them to read and enjoy through the years.

And their MARRIED!! Loved how Emma took a moment took look back and take in the scene with her new husband at their home church.

They absolutely nailed their sunset portraits! Behind their church we took advantage of this beautiful lake and walking path before their reception. It also allowed me to get some fun creative shots on the way back.

It’s becoming more and more common for couples to forgo traditional wedding cakes and opt for alternative dessert options, and a dessert table is a popular choice. Not only does it allow for a wider variety of treats to cater to different tastes, but it also adds a fun and visually appealing element to the reception. But they did opt for the traditional cake slicing and “serving”

A sparkler exit is such a fun way to leave your reception. As Emma & Mike exited the wedding venue, guests light sparklers to create a sparkling archway for them to walk through. This creates a magical and romantic atmosphere they’ll remember for years to come.
