2012, my love & curiosity of photography first began. I went down the rabbit hole of finding a local wedding photographer through their blogs. It was not at all what I expected when I searched for a photographer. My idea of photographer was those with flashes, stiff poses that I grew up with in school and JCPenny sessions. I had no idea this idea of natural light, genuine life style photography existed. I was hooked and wanted to learn as much as I could, all while teaching.

In 2015, our family became complete with the addition of our daughter. During this time I took an intentional break from photography to focus on our new baby while working full-time as an elementary teacher. After a couple years, with the encouragement of my husband and lots of prayer, I am once again following my passion and talent of capturing life’s most important moments. What I love most about photography is that when it is done with care, your photos will tell a story you can pass on for generations.

I have a relaxed style and love to have fun during photo sessions. While shooting, I mix it up with posed and candid photos to capture individual personalities and relationships.
